Will tile anti-slip treatment disrupt my home or business?

Treatment is carried out quickly and conveniently with no disruption to your home or business. GroutPro Tile and Grout Specialists can work around you, after hours, or on weekends, and most importantly, you’ll be able to walk on the surface immediately.

What type of surfaces can be treated?

Terracotta tiles, ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, vitrified tiles, limestone, marble, granite and more.  We will always test first to ensure the result is acceptable to you before starting treatment.

Will the treatment change the surface appearance?

As this process is not a coating or abrasive process it creates no discernible change in the appearance to most surfaces it’s applied to. There will be no ugly tape or coating to peel off over time.  This means that the investment you’ve made in your floors is protected.  We will always test first to ensure the result is acceptable to you before starting treatment.

Is it easy to clean & maintain?

Yes, treated floors are cleaned as per our recommended cleaning procedure, however there is no special maintenance required

What about meeting government / OSH standards for commercial premises?

Our trained specialists can take a testing of the co-efficient of friction with an electronic slip test meter on a random selection of tiles both before and after the area has been treated. We can supply you with a report showing the improvement to slip resistance that’s been achieved.  We can also assist with arranging certification in accordance with Australian standards (AS/NZS 4586:2004) “Slip resistance classification of pedestrian surface materials” through an independent testing organisation.
